We arrived on Monday, July 31st during Coast Guard week. First visitors were newlyweds Pete and MaryLou Accardi from New York (Pete was Joe's best man 19 years ago). We met MaryLou for the first time and welcomed her into the "family".

Soon after they left, the Carnerie's from San Diego stopped in for two days. The Carnerie's (Don, June and daughter Dawn Monique who brought her friend and roomie Jenny) were next door neighbors to Joe and Gwen 77-87 and we still stay in touch (in addition, Don is a postman and delivers to Virg when substituting for his friend). They were arriving the same night Gwen had planned the annual visit to Sue and John Hornacek (Sue and Gwen were college roomies) - so Sue said "Bring them here - we'll get more pizza". Needless to say, we had a full house.

The next night the group made a visit to Fricano's - Grand Haven local pizza house.
